I've really enjoyed "staying in touch" with many of you on the I Love Stitching Lizzie*Kate Facebook page. It's so fun to see what you're stitching, and all the creative finishes. A kind shopowner oversees this sight, and we're so thankful for Wilma and all the people who share on this FB page.
I'm working on a BIG blog post with upcoming stuff for 2015. Look for that early next week in 2015!
Meanwhile, sitting in my upstairs L*K office and watching a "little snow" outside my window, I'm reminded of our A Little Snow kit. Our helper, Carmen, just restocked this one and it's a favorite.
Is it snowing at your house? What's your favorite thing to do when it's snowy outside? Does it involve a cozy chair and stitchery (and maybe a pet) in your lap or an outdoor activity with your warm clothes?
We have this silly tradition of always venturing out to eat when the weather is the worst. My husband loves this (he's already mentioned it this morning)! Everyone else is heeding the weatherman's warnings and staying in and he longs to drive in whatever wintry mix is falling!
Happy Wintry Day!
Check back next week for the 2015 PREVIEW!
I love that little kit! I can't stitch on linen (allergic), so I'd love to see you offer an aida version!
ReplyDeleteI have a shop in Michigan and will gladly swap out the Linen in kits for Aida!
DeleteAfter being away from counted cross stitch for a few years, I decided to start up again. Stopped in a shop in Columbus, Ohio, & purchased this kit. Can't wait to get started on it now that the holidays are over. What a great way to start the new year!

Can't wait for all the new patterns you'll be coming out with this new year!!
ReplyDeleteI love that kit.... Lovely Xmas photo :)
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately we don't get snow for Christmas.... Being in Australia we usually have a very warm Xmas day.... Lots of sun, but no snow!
Happy New Year :)
No snow here in New Zealand either, very hot and humid. Two mire hours and it will be 2015. Happy New Year
ReplyDeleteQuelle jolie broderie.
ReplyDeleteJe ne sais pas si je peux le trouver en France.
Meilleus voeux pour l'année 2015. !
Great photo! We had snow this morning up here in Vermont, and although it had mostly melted by Christmas this year, it's supposed to snow all week. Our daughter got a sleigh for Christmas, so we go for a walk/sled when it snows now.
ReplyDeleteNo snow here in South Florida. Celebrating the new year holiday by enjoying an iced drink on the Starbucks patio and working on a certain Mystery Sampler. ;-)
ReplyDeletewe had a little snow but not on Christmas Day. I stayed in with my cat, working on Holly & Hearts and catching up on Downton Abbey - somehow I feel like it's a must thing to do considering that's the atmosphere those chart packs were born in the first place.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a wonderful time with your family & friends during the holidays, and thanks for the tip about the FB page. I joined one about your mysteries and assumed that was the official one, silly me!
best wishes,
chiara

It is snowing here right now and I am enjoying sitting inside with my 1 year old watching some Sesame Street and doing some stitching. My boyfriend also enjoys driving in bad weather. I don't really get what is so fun so I usually stay home with the kids. That is a lovely picture of your family around the Christmas tree!
